Within the KNOW HOW, we have also created a new members-only community forum, for both promoter and performer members to discuss topics and ask questions.

We’re proud to say that Tourbook originally emerged from our network, when our members were looking for a more efficient way to join up their activities within a challenging geographic and economic context. The idea of an ‘always on’ showcasing space to connect performers looking to tour with promoters and venues looking to host them, and to connect promoters with each other for coordination and support.

The Tourbook vision is a more accessible, diverse and well distributed professional performing arts scene – made possible by bespoke and effective digital cultural infrastructure.

And we’re even prouder to see Tourbook growing now that it’s a separate company, and open to venues and promoters across Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland, as well as performers touring in/to those countries. The Touring Network still owns a share of the company, but leaves the development and management of the platform up to the team at Tourbook. We believe it’s in safe hands.

We get it. The abundance of amazing shows and performers out there who are keen to tour the highlands and islands can seem overwhelming at times.
